Hotpopradio.com is an exciting new young artist internet radio station that is owned and operated by MDI-Music Development Inc. Multi-platinum songwriter/Co-Founder of Hotpopradio.com Melanie Andrews. Melanie explained, “I have worked with kids and teens musically for more than 10 years, I have found one of the biggest complaints from parents is the concerns about the quality and lyrical content of the music their young ones are listening to. Of course kids’ and teens love popular music with its hip beats, but its mature themes and language are a source of consternation for parents.”

While some popular products offer a partial solution, Andrews said in her experience, the kids and teens themselves tend to prefer the original artists, and don’t always accept these cover songs as authentic. Andrews’ solution was to create Hotpopradio.com, which offers fresh, hip and current music designed especially for kids and teens and loved by parents for its fun beats and clean, wholesome lyrics. Featuring all original songs, and new artists from MDI Music Development Inc.

Although, Hotpopradio.com also plays other popular artist’s music on their station the playlists are constantly screened to only play “clean” versions of popular songs and age-appropriate songs for their young listeners.
